Bettie, 1954 Chevy 150 2 door

I bought Bettie as an unfinished semi-kustom restore.

The body & paint were already finished. She came from Kanas originally, then to Indiana, where the body & chrome were done by the PO. Then she ended up in Ohio with me.

She ran pretty ragged. The carbs were a total mess. I made new linkage & did some repair/tuning, but those Rochesters are not the greatest choice. I'm going to replace them with a matched set of carter YFs as soon as the weather breaks.

I've got a lot of little things to do. Front disc brake conversion is near the top of the list. I've gathered everything but the new MC for the change over.

Eventually, the stock 3 speeds getting replaced by a T5. I have a '57 Chevy rear end for the open driver conversion, but I'm still savin' for the tranny.

I'm replacing the stock gauges with an all new Dolphin set, I already put an NOS Moon tach in.

more later...
