Love the idea of a cheap hot rod. My son and I are building a 50′s style 41
Chevy P/U and hope to bring it in under $2500.

Hello. Looking for help. Want to do a budget build on my 65 fastback its in as bad of shape as the 5k mustang build was, floor an frame rails completely rotted out. I was wondering what kind of frame was used in the 5k mustang build. I was considering doing a unibody swap from an 03 mustang convertible like sn65 project but the 5k mustang build looks easier in my opinion. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have been following the build on this car since he posted it up on Pro-Touring .com an have been a fan ever since.
I have also gained some friends in the deal, when Ron and friends brought the car to our event (PSMC) Thank you it was a blast.
I have a shop car that is on the budget build trying to finish it up at the moment, and Ron has helped with that by bartering a 04 dodge seat i had laying around for a computer and a tune for my 2001 Z06 motor with kinsler fuel injection.
Which was also bartered for from another friend for body work on his car.
The wheels for my car are the same as Ron’s Because he hooked me up with the same guy he bought his from.
Thank you Ron you have been an inspiration to us all.
