i last ran my roadster on the salt in 1998… and yes rust is a major part of salt lake racing . Everything will rust or corrode and cad plated fastenings are a no non,they just get eaten up. The trick is to por 15 everything,assemble it then paint over the lot .it will still rust,only slower…
