Hi! I'm a Falcon fan and as Clifford says 6=8. We use to prepare AMC inline sixes with 318 cu. pistons and they ran very fast. A woman in a fast car, Yes.

Craig,
Thanks for the great article. We appreciate your efforts and time to
provide a venue to show off for racers and to support our cause. Since
you took the pictures and did the article we ran a 10.89 at 122mph at
Speedworld for the Nostalgia drags. Unfortunately I broke on the first
round of eliminations. I was up against a Hemi Mopar. He dialed an
11.85 and I dialed an 11.10. I spun off the start and was gaining at the
top end when "boom". The timing chain let loose. I still had an 11.27!
One thing we were very happy with was the ability to run 1.52 60ft times
and make lower ET with less boost. We believe the gains came from the
ported head and improved cam timing.
Will is now re-engineering the cam/crank timing gear/chain for the 250
with our machine shop. We will be using a 302 based set up which should
better retain the cam gear, allow for an adjustable gear and for a
stronger chain.
We'll keep you posted. I'll let Will chime in for any technical
corrections if needed.

Hi Mike,
You said, "Great story about your Wife and car." Just to be clear, Kelly's not my wife. She's a friend from the Nostalgia drags and from the fordsix.com discussion board. I hope we become good friends, but I think her husband will won't like it if we get married!

Never heard of a six cylinder turning those kinds of times, but I have discovered in my 71 years that nothing is impossible. I belong to SAMC here in Tucson, and drive a 2007 Mustang V-6. I noticed from the picture of the Falcon that you have a cols air intake on it. I have one on mine too and got a real power boost from that plus the two and a half inch Magnaflow exhaust. I am now in touch with BBK to see if anyone makes a supercharger that will fit under the hood of my Stang. Maybe you would know. I want it to stay out of sight, possibly to mount so it will turn withe engine. Great story about your Wife and car. Congratulations on both wars for her...........Sincerely, Mike

Thanks so much for taking the time to ask about our story. Racing is truly a labor of love, but when we can also promote a good cause, we appreciate any positive press.
We are currently down again due to timing chain failure, but are working on reengineering to strengthen this weak link. We'll keep everyone posted.
Thanks for the support.
