Decided to check out your website. Astonishing paintings!! Brilliant use of colour and very expressive use of brushwork. Your paintings show feeling, power, strength....and most of all... emotion!! I really like the 'buttery'...wet on wet technique you use . Brings to mind Skip Liepke and Gregory manchess. Best of all is the subject matter. 'Roaring metal'....love it all. Even in your loose style that expresses speed and action the detail is there without being over worked. You know the curve of a dropped axel, how the springs and shocks are mounted, what a 21 stud engine and 97's look like and bias ply tires. The only artist that comes close to you was Walter Gotschke. Remember him? Thats the best compliment I can give. I hope to acquire one of your prints someday to hang next to the Gotschke Auto Union C-Type in action. Thanks for doing what you do.
