I raced him a lot, as I had an altered. He was an engine builder, mechanic, and quite a character. Garry passed away some time back, and when I saw the car at the Roadster Show, it sure brought back a lot of memories. Last night while I was cleaning up my garage here in New Mexico, I found several articles from (1982) the Las Vegas Review-Journal about Garry, myself, and the other local racers.
