hi there. I just bought a 1500 beetle thats junked for two years. The body is still very good but the engine is in the shop for overhaul. I just wanted to ask how will i know if it's made in Germany or Brazil? (Those are the ones that are here in the philippines) I'm glad to have seen this forum, perhaps i could solicit some ideas here in restoring the beetle. thanks

Man I love those bugs!

I have a 1973 1303sb and would love to race. Does anyone know of a circuit in the states? I'm out in the Western region, and if there's not there needs to be one!

Dude yes, Super Bugs are easy to find and super affordable. There's a shop out here in the backwoods, a well-kept secret. Pat's Auto VW/Audi/Porsche. And I live in Oregon. The guy literally has about 4 acres of old cool VWs, Audis, and Porsches, over 80% of them being aircooled! (excluding the Audis, of course). I'm going to build a road-race Bug myself, with a 2100cc Porsche aircooled engine.
