Drivetrain:

Engine:Stock Stroke 440 + .040, JE coated pistons, Manley rods, Indy SR heads, Scott Brown Roller Cam (forgot the specs, in the .650 range) Comp Cams Stainless rockers, ATI balancer, Indy BA Dual Plane, MSD ignition, BG fuel pump, BG 850 carb. Only made 570 hp/590 tq on dyno

Trans: Jim Rush built 727 with RMVB and brake. Alum front drum with Liberty 3,800 stall convertor

Exhaust: 2 1/8 headers into 3" full exhaust High Speed Welding with Scott Brown Mufflers

Rearend: Strange Engineering driveshaft and Dana 60 4:56 (or 3:73 two gear sets) Detroit Locker


Chassis:

Chassis work was done by the crew at Alston Racecar Factory in Antioch, IL.

Tied the frame, installed a full cage, ladder and panhard bars, shock mounts, wheel tubes. 

 


Wheels & Tires:

Steelies: 15 x 5 (3 1/2 BS) front 28" M/T Sportmans frontrunners,   15  x 10 (7 BS) 29" x 12.5 M/T Sportmans, Rims built by Stockton Wheel company. Ran with 1968 Plymouth Poverty caps

Welds: Aluma Stars same size as above

 


Body:
What? does this make it go faster?
Interior:
Spartan like. RCI custom wide race seats, stock rear seat modified to fit baby seat and wheel tubs. E-body shifter console with B&M Pro ratchet shifter, Autometer gauges and Alston built cage with swing out bars for the wife

This was my first real mechanical crush, first as in first one I did serious work into.
