After I removed the vinyl roof.

This side panel was bad

After I'd been working on it a while with wire wheel & sanding.

After POR15 rust stop & body filler. Holes sealed & filled in.

Body filler on & sanded.

First coat of primer to see what it looks like.

Roof after first coat of primer.

After 3 coats of primer & at least 5 coats of paint, color sanded & buffed.

DsFords	04-21-2008 8:19 PM I got this car last year from my ex-wife & ex mother-in-law. It's been in their family since it was new. Story I was told, was that this car was special ordered at Berg Ford by a sales manager there, for his daughter, who was just getting ready to graduate. She ran off & eloped, which pissed him off. So he put the car out for sale on the lot. My ex-wife's grandmother & grandfather were driving by & grandma saw that Pink Ford & had to have it. They bought it on the spot. It's been in the family since, & has been passed down & around to various family members. My ex & her husband (who's a Chevy guy) had it for a while & it was just sitting. Since I was still (kind of ) part of the family, & they knew I was into old Fords, she called me & ask me if I wanted "Pinky". I said, sure! So they gave it to me! Maybe I'll pass it down to my grandson... if he's interested.
