Interior pt 2 - Just got my FatMat, started installing the roof, my neck hurts. I'll finish tomorrow. Next will be the ABS board I just got from Tap Plastics. We'll see how that goes... I'll load up some more pics of the progress on Sunday. Read More...
Wiring - Bought a wiring kit for 130 online, after checking out the wiring that came with the car... no wire was longer then 6" and they were all RED. Different guages but all red... unbelieveable.. Two weekends to complete the wiring and tonight she fired up. No hesitation she turned right over. Need to work out some kinks but all in all it was a VERY productive weekend. Floor panels went in tonight, holes are drilled for the chest to be mounted then the battery box can be mounted inside... tucked away in secret. shhhh. Don't tell anyone I'm being sneeky. This week I need to order the turn signals that mount on the headlights and some dynomat. Read More...
Interior - Sand down surface rust and paint on POR 15 Rust paint, getting ready for all the finishes on the wiring. Need to add Dynamat to the insides of the doors and around the back panels. Need to get a new rear window cut cuz my kick ass man broke mine! Need to get the rear passenger window wood in and the window back in place. Need to put back in the finished dash and hook up the gages. Change the tranny gasket kit, connect the new shifter. Attach the shitty seats, put in the last floor pieces, chest and battery. Sorry not to have responded sooner. I love your ride. My first "adult" rod was a '34 Chev Standard 2 door sedan all original. Sold it to a good friend who had it rodded in about 90 days. Still has it today and we cruise together quite a bit. Wish I could attach a pic for you. Keep up the good work. It's worth it. Mike

Thanks for the question. Our ride is a '39. I also am looking at wide whites, maybe on artillery wheels, but haven't found quite what i want yet!
