Studebaker Commander "Studebaker"
Small block Chevy 350 bored .030 over. Lots of little HP scavenging tricks hidden inside. It will be a good efficient street motor. Rebuilt TH-350 auto trans. Might change out to a 700R4 for the overdrive later on. Pontiac Firebird posi rearend with street gear.

Nothing special

Read More...How I got it
This is how I bought it. I hated the side pipes. It sayt too high and the motor setup was just shy of a hack job.
Not much room in here for a V8
Crappy stock suspension and steering didn't leave room for much of anything.
SBC
This was the first motor I built for it. I got turned off at the thought of another SBC so I sold it and started building a chevy 292 inline 6 for it.
Inline 6
This was the inline 6 that I built for it. Installed it too. Then decided I didn't like that motor either. It was far too long and the firewall was recessed too much and made foot room tight. Now I'm working on a third motor (top secret).
Bye bye frontend
you can see what I did with the stock frontend. No more tight rails. No more obsolete parts.
