Drivetrain:

Engine:    428 Cobra Jet (from a 68 Tbird)

Crack-a-Way engine machine Elk Grove CA

      helped out here, THANKS RICK!

Trans:      C-6 Automatic (W/3500 Stall Converter)

Rear End: Ford 9" with 31 spline axles and Polished Currie  Pumpkin  with 4:11 Gears

Chassis:
Completely customized stock frame with a four link set up in the rear and a TCI front clip (they didn't make one for this truck but the one for a '53 Chevy was close)  Coil over Shocks at all four corners, I HATE AIR BAGS, so these pictures show it at ride height.
Wheels & Tires:

Wheels were designed after the old GT 350 Mustang wheels but instead of the rough cut machine edges made some changes to smotth out the spokes and designed a cap to hide the lug nuts.  Wheel were made from EVOD out of San Diego, CA.  Fronts are 18" Rears are 20"

Tires are BFG's

Body:
This is what makes the truck. Many hours were spent on the metal work to get the panels to line up (They didn't come that way from the factory) rear of the cab was leaned forward to match the door post, and all the body lines were straightened and made a little sharper than stock.  ROSEVILLE ROD AND CUSTOM did an Awesome job! Thanks Guys!
Interior:
The interior was designed to resemble a Mustang; took out the dash pad and recessed the center section. Got the seats from a 91 Acura Legend and had to cut the frame down and buld a center console that looks like a Mustang. Steering Wheel is from Moto-Lita in  England, same one they put in the original Cobras and the Aluminum Gage Cluster Hand Painted to Match Steering Wheel.  Seats, Door panels and headliner are all black leather stitched up by Dave Putnam in Citrus Heights, CA.

This truck was the first vehicle I owned, I drove it through all of High School and even many years after High School. I'm...

Hi Cascott, I do have some pictures of the suspension and frame, I will try to find them and post them. Sorry I didn't get to you sooner, but somebody decided to break into my truck and steal my stereo, laptop etc. just starting to get things back in line right now.

Do you have any pictures of the suspension/frame? I checked the magazine and everything here and couldn't find any. I think I feel the same way you do. I want to sit low but I don't want the complication and expense of airbags if I can avoid it.

Hi Casscott01, The TCI was the easy part getting everything else to fit was the hard part! The bed has been raised by 4". I can't think of anything else to change, the only thing I did wrong was to try and keep the Twin I beams, should've just started with the TCI first. Thanks for the comments sorry it took me soooo long to get back to you.

That things is suh...weet! Best thing i took away from it was that you could get that stance with coilovers. How hard was it to modify the TCI front clip? Have you found a better solution since you finished your build? Did you have to raise the bed floor? I like everything about this truck!

Hi 72 Ford, I'll try to find some more pictures of the interior for you. It took me quite some time to find the right seats. another option if you have a junk yard that deals with older vehicles the seats out of an old econoline van are the right size also but all the ones I found were wasted. Good luck to you it is going to be trial and error if you go to a Japanese car like I did be ready to do a bunch of metal work I had to fabricate the brackets for the seat to sit on, what a pain in the A*@!

Oh wow they look really nice. IM trying to find some decent seats to modify and put in mine but the only things i can find are some buckets out of a newer expedition, they sit kinda high and have no kind of classic look either. Do you have any other pics of the interior? Im not trying to steal what youve done, just get some ideas, you hardly ever see guys restoring trucks like ours these days so its hard to see whats possible you know? and thanks, shes my baby. Looks like yours is too. Nice Cobra jet in there too. I was trying to find one for my truck to build but no louck, im building a 460 to replace the 390 and ive got 2000 into it and its not even assembled yet so when im done itll be a running sob.

Hi 72Ford, The seats are actually out of a 1991 Acura Legend and the frame was cut down a little to try keep it below the back window. And yes the center console was custom built. It wasn't easy but nothing on this truck was, GOOD LUCK WITH YOURS!

Hey, One hell of a truck you got there. Is that a custom center console? and what kind of seats are those? I hope you dont mind me asking, im re-doing the interior in my 72 and i want to keep a classic look but get new seats and rip out the old bench. Those look like theyre out of a mustang? or am i just way off?
