Why I made this site:
I’ve loved hot rods since the first time I saw Milner’s 32
Coupe on American Graffiti. There’s a bunch of websites out there to share
pictures, but none of the people I talk to, that are REALLY into building and
driving cars, have ever heard of them.
Plus, those sites are run by folks who have Phd’s and don’t own cars they build and drive. NOT HERE!
I want to build a community of friends and enthusiasts where we can share pictures, information and experiences about our rides in an organized way. We all love to talk about our rides, so this should be fun!
My Background and
Education:
My Pops (Pops' Garage) is a hot rodder, was a drag racer, and worked as a
Ford mechanic for over 25 years. I think
I was born with grease under my nails! I
have a degree in mechanical engineering from Arizona
State University,
but oddly enough, the things I learned from Pops helped me the most in getting the 7
jobs I’ve had. My current job is at Nissan as a powertrain performance engineer. At home I’m a wanna-be
fabricator working on my car projects and this website when my wife & kids
are sleeping.
In the End:
I want MyRideisMe.com to be the only website enthusiasts needs
to find everything they need make our
hobby more fun and more affordable.

Chris is off on his next adventure. He's formed a design company with an old friend and work mate. The company's called Creation Product Development. If you're looking for world class concept to finish design or high tech analysis, Creation PD's the way to go. They use Pro/E and Mechanica as well as a host of other state of the art softwares to get the job done on time and right.
Chris is also taking the Motorcycle portion of MyRideisMe.com and porting it to a brand new site called Teknikka.com. It's not up yet, but look for it soon.
I thank Chris for his guidance and steady hand and steady head when we first started MyRideisMe.com. We'll continue to be friends and co-supporters for all our business adventures. Thanks Chris!
So now, I'm on my own. Let's see where we can take this!
