SuperCruise 08 on to 09

SuperCruise 08 is history planning and organizing for SuperCruise 09 is beginning and planning for SuperCruise Texas is also in the works.

As soon as the event was over this year we have begun the planning for 09. With my recent move to Texas we are discussing the addition of a SuperCruise Texas but that is still just a discussion. We hope to of course keep building the SuperCruise event in Des Moines, Iowa and I will continue to hold an active role in the event planning and organizing. I have however given the majority of the driver position to the Joe Kelly Spinal Injury Foundation newly appointed President, Martin Mohrfeld. Marty has taken the position with plans of continuing the mission and building the SuperCruise and SuperShow'n Shine Event in 2009 to a level that will put us on the map for all Car, Motorcycle events in Iowa. I will do everything I can to help Marty from Texas and be more hands on when I return to Iowa throughout the year. Jon Lovell and Curt Stahr also have stepped up and taken on more responsibilities to manage and operate the Foundation as well as the SuperCruise and SuperShow'n Shine Event.  Please watch our website at www.supercruiseia.com for updated information and new announcements regarding the event and the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation as well as the Joe Kelly Spinal Injury Foundation. I have been asked by the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation to help build the Iowa and now Texas Chapters and duplicate the acitivities that we have created in Iowa throughout the Midwest and Texas. With my love of cars, motorcycles and the art of building and fabricating these machines we will most likely have a tie in to shows and events such as the SuperCruise. Thank you all for the support , kindness and prayers.
