He drove, yea DROVE his killer 1954 Chevy Bel Air out to Mohave, CA for the Gene Winfield and Larry Watson, &#8220;Custom Car and Hot Rod Gathering&#8221; at Winfields shop. That&#8217;s an ass-numbing 2300 miles one way! After the show, Jake left his custom with a buddy in Corona, CA then flew back to Michigan.<\/p>\n<p>Next, Jake came back for the Mooneye&#8217;s show in December, then flew back&#8230; then one month later, here he is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">inside <\/span>at the Grand National Roadster show! Eat that power tour!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Anyone drive more than that last year?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t think Jake&#8217;s some kind of gold chaining-jet setter for all the trips he&#8217;s making&#8230; He got the money the old fashioned hot rodder way, by selling a 1929 Ford Roadster somewhat barn find he found then quickly sold for a nice profit. Out back you&#8217;ll find &#8217;56 Packard taillights looking right at home with fine lines by pinstriper Jerry Czerwinski.<\/p>\n<p>Two giant thumbs up for Jake and his Chevy.
