This one started with a can of flat green paint.<\/p>\n<p>Voodoo Larry&#8217;s a well know name in hot rods and custom cars. For some 30 years, Larry&#8217;s been building custom cars and worth noting including the &#8220;Voodoo Idol&#8221; shown hear with the lovely, November 2012 Pinup of the Month Monica Renee. Larry runs Voodoo Larry Kustoms out of Elk Grove Village, IL where in his words, &#8220;The shop is not state of the art, but VooDoo Larry puts his heart and soul into every build and modification.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>For Larry&#8217;s latest creation, &#8220;Voodoo Psychosis&#8221; the first thing you might notice is the wheels. The fronts are 20&#8217;s and out back 18&#8217;s wear\u00a0 7.50-18 Firestones. Larry waited 10 years to find a set, then made a deal on Ebay.<\/p>\n<p>The paint &#8216;Psychosis wears now is 1948 Chrysler light green with the 1979 Mercedes darker green. This engine was featured in the <a title=\"11 Best Hot Rod Engines \u2013 Motor City Style\" href=\"http:\/\/www.myrideisme.com\/Blog\/11-best-hot-rod-engines-detroit-autorama\/\">&#8220;Top 11 Hot Rod Engines of Detroit&#8221;<\/a> feature and deserves it. They had help from M and B Autobody for the paint and body, wiring from Hot Rod Playground and the seats and aluminum panels with hand done rivets seem all over the interior by Hot Rod Alley Speed.
