Over here, a <a title=\"2012 LA Roadster Show \u2013 Swap Til you Drop\" href=\"http:\/\/www.myrideisme.com\/Blog\/2012-la-roadster-show-swap-meet\/\" target=\"_blank\">fantastic swap meet<\/a> when you&#8217;re looking for that obscure 50s original part for your Caddy&#8230; Over there, a car show fit for everyone. Trucks, traditional hot rods, nose up street gassers and even a laid out Econoline van.<\/p>\n<p>Then, there&#8217;s the &#8220;real&#8221; show&#8230; Over yonder&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Separated by a walk that your dog would turn down, but featuring a conditioned air main hall filled with go-fast goodies and hot rod art&#8230; and of course, the shiny, finished roadster that are, the LA Roadster Show. To get in, you need a finished, glossy painted car and no fixed windows. True roadster and no rats. Heard that name? You should have cause owner Doug Jerger built the <a title=\"12 Contenders for 2011 America\u2019s Most Beautiful Roadster\" href=\"http:\/\/www.myrideisme.com\/Blog\/12-contenders-2011-ambr-award\/\" target=\"_blank\">2011 America&#8217;s Most Beautiful Roadster<\/a> shown on these very grounds for the <a title=\"Stories and Pictures from GNRS\" href=\"http:\/\/www.myrideisme.com\/Blog\/tag\/grand-national-roadster-show\/\" target=\"_blank\">Grand National Roadster Show.<\/a> (One of my other favorite shows)<\/p>\n<p>I happened to nab owner Todd Stevens behind his nasty, injected Hemi powered deuce hot rod roadster in the shot on the right. Todd also has a driven-hard <a title=\"AutoCross a 68 Shelby KR \u2013 Got Balls?\" href=\"http:\/\/www.myrideisme.com\/Blog\/68-shelby-gt500-kr-autocross\/\" target=\"_blank\">1968 Shelby<\/a> and a jaw dropping Merc. Dennis said the LA Roadster Show was on his bucket list of shows to do, but since he worked the Painless booth for most the day, I shot this and sent it to him. Anyone notice the missing &#8220;mens room&#8221; sign and that big-old vent thing that was on top of the building? (and sticking through the windshield of my shot!) Blown small block Chevy (looks like), polished five-spokes wrapped up in <a title=\"Get white wall tires just like these\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cokertire.com\/coker-classic-radial-wide-whitewall.html?utm_source=homepage&amp;utm_medium=hero&amp;utm_campaign=coker-whitewalls\" target=\"_blank\">Coker Classic White Walls<\/a>. The only thing missing is the sound. What do you guess?
