Cool. Do your thing, but dig this first&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Start with a fairly blank canvas:\u00a020x 8.5&#8243; <a rel=\"nofollow\" title=\"Centerline Smoothie wheels\" href=\"http:\/\/centerlinewheels.com\/wheels_detail.php?mw_id=1&amp;sw_id=358\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"broken_link\">Centerline Smoothies<\/a>\u00a0shown here. Then, let Max Fish, owner at Bio Kustumz hand- mill the wheels &#8212; that&#8217;s right, on a manual Bridgeport\u00a0mill &#8212; to the design you see here. Max is a guy I gotta meet some day. His company slogan is, &#8220;We suck less&#8221; and he wears it proud in <a rel=\"nofollow\" title=\"Live at the lathe with Bio Kustumz\" href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=5j_FiVILji4\" target=\"_blank\">this video<\/a> where a radiator hose coupling comes off his lathe.<\/p>\n<p>Now Max wasn&#8217;t alone&#8230; He had help from my friend Brian Stupski over at <a title=\"Hot Rod and Custom Car design and rendering\" href=\"http:\/\/www.problemchildkustoms.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Problem Child Kustoms.<\/a>\u00a0Brian&#8217;s a wizard with everything color and style and together, between Brian, Max and car owner, Jerry Horton (yea, the guy from Papa Roach) these custom wheels were born.<\/p>\n<p>To show the thought put in, check out the sketches Brian did:<br \/>\n<img class=\"alignnone  wp-image-21152\" style=\"margin: 4px; border: 2px solid black;\" title=\"Custom rendering of the one off wheels for this 1951 Mercury Custom\" src=\"http:\/\/www.myrideisme.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/SEMA-show-custom-one-off-wheels-5.jpg\" alt=\"Mercury Custom, one off wheels, custom wheel design\" width=\"575\" border=\"2\" hspace=\"4\" vspace=\"4\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.myrideisme.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/SEMA-show-custom-one-off-wheels-5.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.myrideisme.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/SEMA-show-custom-one-off-wheels-5-93x150.jpg 93w, https:\/\/www.myrideisme.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/SEMA-show-custom-one-off-wheels-5-575x922.jpg 575w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>That leaves just one more thing&#8230; the bad ass car. The one off wheels are on a 1951 Mercury customized by Max as well. It&#8217;s called &#8220;Reprise&#8221;. I should have some killer photos for ya&#8230; but I don&#8217;t. The ones I have were poo. The paint is so vibrant, the lights inside the convention center and\/or my flash crushed the lines of this beautiful custom Merc. I couldn&#8217;t post them&#8230; But!
