I\u2019ve got a special interest in what\u2019s going on in\" data-image=\"http:\/\/www.myrideisme.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/12\/8846-farris.jpg\" data-button=\"\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<img src=\"\/\/www.linksalpha.com\/images\/social_share_button.png\" alt=\"Share\" class=\"linksalpha_image\" \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a><script type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"\/\/www.linksalpha.com\/scripts\/loader_iconbox.js?v=2.4\"><\/script><\/span><\/div><p class=\"MsoNormal\">While cruising Myspace looking for car and bike enthusiasts to bring to the light of <a title=\"MyRideisMe.com Homepage\" href=\"http:\/\/www.myrideisme.com\/\">MyRideisMe.com<\/a>, I learned of the <span>16th Annual YOKOHAMA HOT ROD Custom Show 2007 that happened December 2<sup>nd<\/sup> in Pacifico Yokohama sponsored by <a title=\"Mooneyes Japan\" href=\"http:\/\/www.moonequipped.com\/index-e.html\" target=\"_blank\">Mooneyes Yokohama<\/a>.<\/span><span><span> <\/span><\/span><a title=\"8846-farris.jpg\" href=\"http:\/\/www.myrideisme.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/12\/8846-farris.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[240]\"><img title=\"8846-farris.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/www.myrideisme.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/12\/8846-farris.jpg\" alt=\"8846-farris.jpg\" hspace=\"10\" vspace=\"4\" width=\"200\" align=\"left\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>I\u2019ve got a special interest in what\u2019s going on in <\/span><span>Japan<\/span><span> since I work for Nissan and I lived in Harajuku, <\/span><span>Tokyo<\/span><span>, <\/span><span>Japan<\/span><span> in 2000.<span> <\/span>When there, I\u2019d occasionally see a car that was completely out of place: an old Chevy wagon or a vintage Mustang, but nothing like what\u2019s at this show.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>To find the best pics of a Japanese show you look at Japanese websites, right?  Good luck!  That&#8217;s where <\/span><span>a new friend from Myspace named <a title=\"Jiro's Myspace Page\" href=\"http:\/\/profile.myspace.com\/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&amp;friendid=1000910486\" target=\"_blank\">Jiro <\/a>from <\/span>Gifu, Japan (near Osaka)<span> helped me find some of those websites, especially this one: <a title=\"&#x53;&#x70;&#x40;&#x72;&#x65;&#x74;&#x69;&#x6d;&#x65;&#x2e;&#x6a;&#x70; Home page, Great Pics!\" href=\"http:\/\/sparetime.jp\/\" target=\"_blank\">SP@RETIME<\/a>. <\/span><span class=\"ep8xu\">Maki<\/span><span> <\/span><span class=\"ep8xu\">Kurata from <\/span><span class=\"ep8xu\">Nagoya<\/span><span class=\"ep8xu\">, <\/span><span class=\"ep8xu\">Japan<\/span><span class=\"ep8xu\"> runs Sp@retime and it is LOADED with outstanding pictures of the bike and hot rod scene in <\/span><span class=\"ep8xu\">Japan<\/span><span class=\"ep8xu\">. The picture to the left was just loaded. Maki and his buddies are riding in Japan now and it is COLD there now! In addition to building cars and bikes, they host the No.1 Custom car show in Japan. <span> <\/span>Paradise Road is owned by Happy Hernandez.<span> <\/span>He\u2019s got a cool looking <a href=\"http:\/\/profile.myspace.com\/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&amp;friendID=1000836623\">Myspace page<\/a> too. Judging by the other photos I\u2019ve seen of this bike floating around the web, this was certainly one of the finest at the show. At the website, there&#8217;s fantastic write-up about a bike made completely from titanium, aluminum and stainless steel called &#8220;The Titan&#8221; When you get there, click on it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><a title=\"7642.jpg\" href=\"http:\/\/www.myrideisme.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/12\/7642.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[240]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.myrideisme.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/12\/7642.jpg\" alt=\"7642.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"399\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Finally, there were a bunch of trick cars at the show too.  This car is in Japan!<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><a title=\"dsc_3783.jpg\" href=\"http:\/\/www.myrideisme.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/12\/dsc_3783.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[240]\"><img title=\"dsc_3783.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/www.myrideisme.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/12\/dsc_3783.jpg\" alt=\"dsc_3783.jpg\" hspace=\"10\" vspace=\"4\" width=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Maki spent his time shooting the bikes, but his friend Kage got the cars.  Most of these cars were Japan locals, but some had been flown in.  The site is called &#8220;Rod-n-kustom Blogzine&#8221;.  It&#8217;s worth checking out for the TONS of pictures and movies of Japan shows.  This guy gets around! I haven&#8217;t seen something as cool as the Mod Chopper 3 in a long time.  Next time I&#8217;m in Japan, I&#8217;m heading down to Nagoya to see my new friends drink beer and hopefully take a ride.  I couldn&#8217;t be more impressed.
