Then you hear the\" data-image=\"http:\/\/myrideisme.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/09\/img_4689.jpg\" data-button=\"\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<img src=\"\/\/www.linksalpha.com\/images\/social_share_button.png\" alt=\"Share\" class=\"linksalpha_image\" \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a><script type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"\/\/www.linksalpha.com\/scripts\/loader_iconbox.js?v=2.4\"><\/script><\/span><\/div><h3>Hot Rod Semi &#8211; More than a Rat Rod<\/h3>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Imagine yourself at a traditional hot rod show like<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> <a rel=\"nofollow\" title=\"Billetproof.com\" href=\"http:\/\/www.billetproof.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Billetproof<\/a><\/span>, enjoying Antioch California\u2019s cool morning breeze when you smell <em>diesel<\/em> fumes.<span> <\/span>Billetproof isn\u2019t the kind of show where you can trailer your baby in, so something\u2019s not right.<span> <\/span>Then you hear the whine of a giant turbo just as this beast rounds the corner:<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><a rel=\"nofollow\" title=\"img_4689.jpg\" href=\"http:\/\/myrideisme.com\/Garage\/Show_pics\/129\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" title=\"img_4689.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/myrideisme.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/09\/img_4689.jpg\" border=\"2\" alt=\"img_4689.jpg\" hspace=\"4\" vspace=\"4\" width=\"428\" height=\"285\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Behold the 1950 Peterbilt owned by Michael Leeds.<span> <\/span>The name for this Hot Rod Semi is up in the air, but \u201cSneaky Pete\u201d is the front runner.<span> <\/span>Michael comfortably cruised about 100 miles from Santa Cruz, CA thanks to the inline 6 Cummins turbo-diesel hooked to a 12 speed automatic transmission spinning highway friendly 2.92 gears.<span> <\/span>Michael guesses 12 to 20 mpg but driving range is no problem since he\u2019s hauling 105 gallons in the polished aluminum fuel tank out back.<span> <\/span>This baby\u2019s read to travel, even weighing in at about 7000 lbs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><a rel=\"nofollow\" title=\"img_4691.jpg\" href=\"http:\/\/myrideisme.com\/Garage\/Show_pics\/129\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Hot rod semi Sneaky Pete\" src=\"http:\/\/myrideisme.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/09\/img_4691.jpg\" border=\"2\" alt=\"Hot rod semi Sneaky Pete\" hspace=\"4\" vspace=\"4\" width=\"432\" height=\"288\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Michael\u2019s no stranger to giant scale projects.<span> <\/span>Ever heard of <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a rel=\"nofollow\" title=\"Blastolene Website\" href=\"http:\/\/www.blastolene.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Blastolene<\/a><\/span>?
