A side effect of this super wide shot is the distortion.\u00a0 I&#8217;m shooting with a 10.5mm fisheye lens. Sometimes that distortion looks kinda cool with the swoopy angles of a custom or in tight on the details of an engine like the <a title=\"Hot Rod Carburetors\" href=\"http:\/\/www.stromberg-carburetors.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Stromberg <\/a>powered flathead in Blackie Gejeian&#8217;s &#8220;Blackie&#8221; Roadster.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"highslide\" onclick=\"return vz.expand(this)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.myrideisme.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/Skull-on-the-Grill.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[7958]\"><img class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7962\" style=\"border: 2px solid black; margin: 4px;\" title=\"Skull on the Grill\" src=\"http:\/\/www.myrideisme.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/Skull-on-the-Grill.jpg\" alt=\"Skull on the Grill, Grand National Roadster Show Street Rodder Room\" width=\"575\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.myrideisme.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/Skull-on-the-Grill.jpg 680w, https:\/\/www.myrideisme.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/Skull-on-the-Grill-99x150.jpg 99w, https:\/\/www.myrideisme.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/Skull-on-the-Grill-199x300.jpg 199w, https:\/\/www.myrideisme.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/Skull-on-the-Grill-400x602.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 680px) 100vw, 680px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Sometimes, the look is just sinister!\u00a0 This is the grille from &#8220;Camel Toe Racing&#8221; 1932 Ford.\u00a0 The closer you get, the more distortion. I&#8217;m just a couple inches off this grill and I probably cropped the shot some.
