1960 Ford Starliner.\u00a0 Kirk&#8217;s a member at MyRideisMe.com, see his <a title=\"Kirk's Starliner Garage\" href=\"http:\/\/www.myrideisme.com\/Garage\/KIRK\/1076\" target=\"_blank\">Garage Here<\/a> for more pics.\u00a0 Our camera man Swanee grabbed this first\u00a0pic at\u00a0last years\u00a0Grand National Roadster Show.\u00a0 This &#8216;Liner blew me away!!!\u00a0 I pulled that TRJ #45 out again last night to re-read the story and stare at the rad photography.\u00a0 Man, this kustom is mad rad!<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"highslide\" onclick=\"return vz.expand(this)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.myrideisme.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/kirk-jones-1960-ford-starliner-custom.JPG\" rel=\"lightbox[8435]\"><img class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8516\" style=\"margin: 4px; border: black 2px solid;\" title=\"Kustom Lowrider Mercury Comet Station Wagon at GNRS 2010\" src=\"http:\/\/www.myrideisme.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/custom-wagon-gnrs.bmp\" alt=\"Kustom Lowrider Station Wagon at GNRS 2010\" width=\"575\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Continuing with this oddball Chrysler Newport above is this Station Wagon.\u00a0 I think Pikesan said this is a Mercury Comet wagon?\u00a0 It&#8217;s sporting the same Astro Supreme wheels and mini whites.\u00a0 Nice custom grille too.\u00a0 But, that paint.\u00a0 Custom paint is key to pulling off a top notch Kustom.\u00a0 Man, the paint alone is a work of art.\u00a0 These early 60&#8217;s wagons have Loooooong roofs, that&#8217;s for sure!\u00a0 &#8220;All the better to store surfboards on my pretty!&#8221;\u00a0 (quote a la Little Ride riding hood ha ha).\u00a0 I&#8217;ll try and get more pics from Pikesan and Swanee of this ride.\u00a0 It deserves a blog post all its own!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.myrideisme.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/suede-custom-truck-viva-las-vegas-2009.bmp\" rel=\"lightbox[8435]\"><img class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8476\" style=\"margin: 4px; border: black 2px solid;\" title=\"Suede Kustom Truck at Viva Las Vegas 2009\" src=\"http:\/\/www.myrideisme.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/suede-custom-truck-viva-las-vegas-2009.bmp\" alt=\"Suede red Kustom Truck at Viva Las Vegas 2009\" width=\"575\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Last pic of this rambling session.\u00a0 I really dig trucks.\u00a0 I think the Kustom look applied to trucks is a perfect combo.\u00a0 This time, instead of high gloss super detail paint like the Starliner or Wagon above, this truck seen at Viva Las Vegas last year sports a satin red suede with tan panel.\u00a0\u00a0 Again its got the tail dragger stance, wide whites and custom wheel covers.\u00a0 Oh and a trick grille too.\u00a0 I love the snouts (big hood) of these late 40&#8217;s, early 50&#8217;s pickups.<\/p>\n<p>Got pictures of the &#8220;May Cause Dangerous&#8221;
