has run a best time of 12.85 seconds at 106mph at Famoso with 4.10&#8217;s.\u00a0\u00a0Eventually the\u00a0plan is to replace the stock ported E7 heads for the GT40P heads and the stock cam with a higher lift unit.\u00a0 For now, a set of <a title=\"AmericanMuscle.com's drivetrain page\" href=\"http:\/\/www.americanmuscle.com\/drivetrain.html\" target=\"_blank\">Ford Racing\u00a03.73 ratio Ring and Pinion from AmericanMuscle.com<\/a> might allow the low revving stock head\/cam &#8220;five oh&#8221; motor to\u00a0utilize the good torque with a set of 3.73&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re a &#8220;do it yourself&#8221; hot rodder, here&#8217;s the step by step instructions for the swap.\u00a0 Part 1 will focus on the removal of the 3.90&#8217;s currently in the car.\u00a0 Also, we&#8217;ll point out some of the home-brewed rear suspension tricks.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"highslide\" onclick=\"return vz.expand(this)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.myrideisme.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/3.73s_005_remove_caliper_bolts__13mm_do_this_frist_then_remove_braket.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[9485]\"><img class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9488\" style=\"margin: 4px; socket.\u00a0 In this picture you can see a hint of the Eaton posi (with carbon fiber clutches) unit that has over 100,000 miles on it.\u00a0 This was one of the most important parts we installed\u00a0that allowed\u00a0&#8220;Sally&#8221; to use the 8&#8243; slicks\u00a0and achieve a best short time (that&#8217;s the first 60ft for the drag noobies) of 1.72 seconds.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"highslide\" onclick=\"return vz.expand(this)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.myrideisme.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/3.73s_004_push_axle_in_and_remove_C_clip____eaton_posi_with_C_F_clutches.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[9485]\"><img class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9543\" style=\"margin: 4px;
