How do you spell it? Yippie for me! My newest field find save. A 1946 ford business coupe. Yes it has the short doors! One quarter sized spot of rot just behind right front fender, floor pans good, body pretty straight for 68 years old. No motor, no rear end but everything else is pretty much there!

Put a tire from an 89 dodge ram charger on the right front to load it. Still had all the trim and badges inside. Tranny, cylinder heads, exhaust manifolds and other stuff still inside.

I've seen her in this field for 3 years about a hundred yards off the road. I knew for sure that people had tried to buy her but she never left. Finally I decided to try, got a lead, found the owner in n.m., made the call was asked for an offer was countered and I accepted. She is mine and has a new home!

Trailered up headed home. 1st car I've bought with no rear end. Probably the easiest load I've had. took the skidsteer with forks to the field on the trlr, stuck the spare on it picked up the ass end and it went right up the ramps! Cant wait to get started!

Didn't even really know what it was till after I bought her. So far I have that it is a 46 Ford business coupe. 12 thousand made. It is the short door. Badge I found inside says "Deluxe". Have only found a few for sale. Have a sbc 350, 700r and ford 9in for it already. May find a turbo 350 not sure yet. Primer for starts and basic interior. Disc brakes up front and that's it so far.
