Restorer, Build-It, Drive-It, Rat Rod
Ford Falcon "62 Falcon Rat"
Drivetrain:
I6; Started right up after years of sitting
Chassis:
Wheels & Tires:
Sitting on stock 14" flats but I recently had a great guy donate some old school 13" alum. slots. Now I just have to find some rubber to put on them.
Body:
The Body is straight, and sitting in primer. I am going to do some clean up and then I am considering painting it myself ( never done that ) or since this is a going to be a teenagers Rat maybe going with old Earl Schieb.
Interior:

Chassis:

Interior:
It's all there and in decent shape. with a little sanding and a few rattle cans of paint we will have a usable interior. We want to grab a few buckets for the front seats and reuse the back bench. The biggest problem is the "view floor" or lack of a floor pan. I have found some on line for about $132 per side. but that will have to wait for some money to through at it.
This is my fisrt father son project with my 15yr old Jacob. I wanted it to be something fun that he can have/drive next year...
