Triumph TR1 "Staracer"
Drivetrain:
I went through the motor and tranny, and everything is basically stock. With a total running weight of around 270 pounds, it goes like hell without a lot of horsepower.
Chassis:
I have designed and built over 1600 Staracer frames over the years for 27 diffirent engines, but of all of them, the Triumph twin is one of my favorites. I set it up with TT style foot pegs for street riding. It is all hand built from 4130, tig welded and nickel plated for durability.
Wheels & Tires:
I have been building Kennedy Wheels since 1972, and my friend Larry kennedy started building them in the 60's. The front is a large spool and the rear is a Quick Change Knock Off so the gear can be changed in under three minutes and the wheel flipped around to the new side of the tire for the main event. The brakes are also Staracer, my design using Brembo calipers and master cylinders.
Body:
The vintage Trackmaster tank is done in Hot rod Black primer with Boyd's purple metal flake scollops.
Interior:

The purple metal Flake scolloped seat is complimented with black leather on a metal seat pan, built by my friend at Aiden Originals, none better and very reasonable.
