Work in progress

2009 after a lot of buffing and TLC

6 cylinder w/ 3 speed

Interior

The interior is original and was pretty well preserved again after a lot of cleaning

Nightmare!

The windshield was only being held in by the chrome mldg. When me removed the glass this is what we found.

Remedy:

A new panel from O.P.G.I. and some welding and we're looking better.

Done !

The dash and window area after repairs and paint.

Rear window

Saved the rear panel with weld and fiberglass.

Rear window

Repaired before paint!

Money Pit

Found in a Transmission shop in 2008 this is the latest step in the restoration. The color is Bahama Blue metallic.

Face lift

Vintage Wheels

The rims are Cragar SST/G's from the mod 60's

In with thr new

350+ ci. S.B.C.

Out with the old

250 ci. out

Paint disaster - Well after a chemical reaction between the basecoat and clearcoat which caused the clear to peal like a snake shin and the base coat to bubble/crack under the clear we removed the clearcoat. Next we'll sand out the cracks in the blue re wet sand and try again. This time with only name brand paints. Stay away from eBay (good deal auto paint kits) I won't name the brand!
