The route has been made, and the preperations and organizing is underway for the 2009 Copperstate 1000

The event will be from April 4th - 8th, and there will be a charity Car show the opening day, followed by the rally participant's send off.

I am honored to get the opportunity to go along again this coming year, as the 08 rally was a life changing event for someone as automobile obsessed as I am. 

The weather was perfect, nice and cool.

This was the first (as far as I know) Regular meeting for sports cars in Scottsdale.

It will be every first saturday 7:30-10:30 am at the Coffee and Tea Leaf parking lot at the intersection of Scottsdale Rd and Doubletree Ranch Rd.

They had a nice turnout with quite a few neat cars. Ferraris were probably the most well represented with models ranging from a classic Dino, a Ferrari F-40, and numerous 360s, 348s, and 308s. There were even a few new F430s.

 I was especially suprised to see a white Lamborghini Muira, a car that I had been wanting to see for a long time, so many thanks to the owner of that car for bringing it out.

Other neat cars were : A old Lancia, a Triumph TR6, Porsche Carrera GT, Detomasa Pantera, Couple of newer vettes, couple of early vettes, Brand new Challenger, and some more Lamborghinis.

The only brand that I wish was represented there was Lotus, I was suprised to see that there were none there.

My Car was pretty well liked, I overheard a few people commenting on various features of the car, which was really cool considering the comapny of cars it was with :)

Lots of interesting things happening here of late.

I had the opportunity to do a photoshoot for the Memories on Main Event  that is coming November the 8th. After many many editing sessions, looks like my art work will end up on the T-Shirts, and the website. How cool is that?

Also I done a small photoshoot of Lance's ridiculous camaro. That car always brings a smile to my face, as well as Lance being a cool guy. Thanks!

I installed the Autopower roll bar into the miata, so that way if I ever end up any which a ways other than shiny side up my head will still function. It will also serve as the platform for my mobile camera rig. (Thanks for the mounts, Vernon!)

Me and Kyle have been working on some advertising ideas for our shop. We have a name, and a logo, so look for us at Cruisin' on Main on the 8th. We will be easy to spot, and be handing out cards, answering questions, and generally being helpful! I will also be providing onsite photo and video CDs at a special event price, so if you want pictures and/or video of your car cruising, let me know ahead of time and we will work out the details, take the footage, and I will burn you a CD onsite!
