zeeman	11-17-2009 7:08 PM Your correct, I did a lot of searching for deals on parts. The rolling chassis came from a roll over from a wrecking yard. The engine was from E-bay from another wreck. Total cost for complete chassis, engine and transmisssion was under $5,000 with all late model low mileage parts.

Those are pretty new parts to be working with and could be costly to the average guy...unless they were savvy enough to go to insurance auctions or tow yard auctions. I saw a diesel run on an "all out" episode and it was ugly for the gas powered car, lol.
