"1986 Mustang LX" 1986 Ford Mustang
Introduction / Overview:
Originally a 4cyl car. I bought it partway through a 5.0 conversion. Using parts from my badly rusted 86 mustang GT i turned the car into a fuel injected 5.0/AOD.
On December 28th 2006 it was hit by an unliscenced and uninsured hispanic. The car was in all essnce a complete loss as it pushed the front end over quite a bit. I purchased a complete front subframe from an 87 LX. I had a frame shop pull the frame rails straight. Hundreds of spotwelds were drilled and the inner fender aprons and radiator support was replaced. The end result was a car that shows no signs of ever being hit!
