"The Driver" 1981 Mazda RX-7
Introduction / Overview: This one is a back-burner project that serves as my daily driver for the time being until the edsel is on the road. I have always thought these were awesome so i traded my 71 super for this one. Its a solid car and its amazing fun. Someday a better, modified engine and maybe turbo.
Drivetrain:
Original 12a and a carburetor. 5 speed trans. Custom 2.25" header-back exhaust with magnaflow cat and muffler, hand built by me.
Chassis: Stock with Koni adjustable shocks in back.
Wheels and Tires: Stock
Body & Paint: Working on Krylon dark gray... Someday an old school JDM style body kit.
Interioir: factory red. Some mild custom stuff in the works
