"Factory Triple Black" 1971 Dodge Challenger
Introduction / Overview: I bought this car just outside of Boston, Mass in September of 2005. I began the resto on November 1, 2005 and finished it in July of 2006. The car was born the colors that you see on it today. The car lived as a race car most of its early life. It is a a 383, automatic car. It currently has a 440 in it, but its original matching # powerplant is tarped on my engine stand. More info to come!
Drivetrain: Drivetrain is Currently a 440 4 Barrel - matching numbers 383 resides on the engine stand.
Chassis: has 'period correct' frame ties (they are definitly '70's era vintage, but well done for their time, This car lived as a race car most of its life)
Wheels and Tires:
15x7 Rallies all the way around
Body & Paint: Black Vinyl top and Black Exterior paint in single stage urethane.
Interioir: Completely stock, including factory air. The addition of a Tuff Wheel and Water Oil and Volt gauges and a Pioneer CD/Radio, speakers in the kick panel (installed prior to my ownership) are the changes to the interior.
