"1972 Monte" 1972 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
Introduction / Overview: Belonged to my best friend, it was our high school cruiser. Bought it from him about 2 years ago to use as a weekend cruiser while I worked on my '78 Monte. Since he passed away last year I just want to get the '78 running so I can take on this project full time.
Drivetrain:
Stock for now. Plans are to either rebuild the engine or dropping in a crate 350, fuel injection, serpentine belt set up, thinking about a super charger or (twin?) turbo.
Chassis: Stock for now. Plans are to lower it.
Wheels and Tires: 20" Verde rims, Kumho tires.
Body & Paint: Rust popping out, no thanks to my neighbors out of control sprinklers.
Interioir: Stock for now. Plans are for leather & suede.
