"Corvair" 1962 Chevrolet Corvair
Introduction / Overview: 62 Corvair Monza 900. 58,000 mile 4 speed car that was sitting in New Mexico since 1988. A freind brought it to Phoenix and I traded him the wagon for it. I removed and cleaned the gas tank,lowered it 4",gave it a tune up and some new tires and started driving.
Drivetrain: Stock twin carb engine, VW muffler, 4 speed
Chassis: Chopped up the original coil springs to get the proper ride hide. No air bags for me.
Wheels and Tires: Stock 13" wheels w trim rings.
Body & Paint: Original colors and rattle can flames.I added the Impala antenna,Olds jet and Detroit fog light.I found the original Corvair deck rack at the Goodguys swap for $15.
