"LX 5 0" 1989 Ford Mustang
Introduction / Overview: 89 LX 5.0, This is going to be my sons car. He's 15 now (April 09) so its going to a little bit of a project. He's been earning and saving money and has purchased some parts already. This car has had some nice performance mods but future plans are cam,heads,intake,supercharger,and wheels & tires.
Drivetrain: Rebuilt 302 with headers,Flowmasters,pulley kit,cold air kit,intake spacer,70mm throttle body,24lb injectors,performance clutch,Hurst shifter.
Chassis: Tokico adjustable struts & shocks,Tokico springs,frame connectors,Maximum Motorsports rear control arms with weight jackers,rear panhard bar,rear shock tower support, and adjustable rear sway bar. Turbo coupe 8.8 rear end with disc brakes and 3:55 gears, Wilwood brake proportioning valve.
Wheels and Tires: Stock 16" ponys with Hankook 225/50r16 tires.
Body & Paint: Plans are to remove the rear spoiler add a cowl hood and repaint the car white again.
Interioir: Totally stock.
