"67 Camaro" 1967 Chevrolet Camaro
Introduction / Overview: This is a project I have wanted since my Mom had my Dad sell his 69 18 years ago. I have had it for 2 years and can't find the original photos I took of it. I know you can't tell but it really looks alot better than it did then, but has a really long road ahead of it. I work in the F/R division of a top 6 manufacturer so I am constantly setting new goals for this ride. I want handling and perfomance better than a Z06 and its rivals.
Drivetrain: Currently none. However I have a mefium journal 327 I am destroking to a 302. I will match that with the Tremec T56 6 speed to 4.11 gears with an LSD.
Chassis: Currently stock but that will go away in exchange for Global Control arms with SSBC 2" drop spindles and coil overs. I wish I could do an IRS, and maybe in a few years, but I am going to put a 4 link in the rear with coil overs back there as well.
Wheels and Tires:
I have not decided on the tires yet, but probably BFG G Force KDWs or Michelin PS2s. The wheels will be a newstaglia looking 20 in the front and 22 in the rear.
Body & Paint: Now flat black rustoleum. In a year the deepest shiniest black with gunmetal ghost flames.
Interioir: Currently rustoluem gloss black. When finished tweed headliner, premium black floor with a custom upholstered seats.
