"my old 1968 Malibu"     1968 Chevrolet Malibu

Introduction / Overview:

I owned this car almost 20 years ago.

back then I was living paycheck to paycheck so i did most of the work myself . the car had corvette buckets a SBC with a thumpy Crane fireball , Holly 750 Duel feed double pump,Edelbrock Scorpion 2 plane manifold , headers Tranny was a th350 w/B&M shift kit. Ladder bar Suspension and into a 12 bolt with HUGE 4:88 gears and 31 inch MH racemaster cheater slicks  WOW !. Crasy ride !!  i loved that car but I would get discouraged because it was never perfect. the body was a little wavy and I just didn`t have the right components . Though I used to get a lots of compliments while i drove it .

The car used to do get the front wheels up with that gear but it NEVER had evough power  the next owner put $:11 gears in it so it would be a little more drivabke
