"my favorite toy" 1973 Mercury Capri
Introduction / Overview: 1973 Capri, currently unergoing resto-mod.
Drivetrain: Stock 2000 4-speed, which will be replaced with the 2300 turbo, T-5 and 8.8 axle from a 1987 Thunderbird.
Chassis: Mostly stock. The front Big Brake project makes use of VW Passat rotors, stock hubs and Mazda RX-7 Turbo II calipers.
Wheels and Tires: 3 different size rags to keep the car off the ground.
Body & Paint: Rokstock fiberglass fender flares, mosly de-chromed. There is much work to be done.
Interioir: Mostly in a heap for now.
