"Ol Ferrous"     1956 Willys Wagon

Introduction / Overview:

Ebay find, had been sitting in a field in NW Minnesota for about 15 years. Considerable tin-worm and a frozen 260 cid FORD also part of the package.

Undaunted, and full of hope it was hauled back to the Twin Cities and it's new home in my garage.

Drivetrain:

Buick/Rover 215/3.5L V8

Stock T-90 3-speed trans

Stock  T-18 Transfer Case

Stock axles F/R with 4:27 gears, but with all new brakes and suspension installed.

Chassis: Stock, but all new suspension installed.
Wheels and Tires: Aftermarket steel wheels and 29" Tires
Body & Paint: Still to come...but A LOT of work was done to rebuild the firewall and both floorboards.
Interioir:

"Custom" front seats made from U of Minnesota Theatre seats and stock Willys seat frames.

Custom firewall, floorboards and trans-tunnel.

Handmade door and interior panels. 

Stock dash.
