"Madeleine" 1961 Cadillac Series 62
Introduction / Overview: This one will remain mostly stock but with restored functionality. These caddy's already came with loads of options like powered windows, door locks, leather interior, automatic head light dimmer. This will be a true zombie. Look ma! No brains!
Drivetrain: All original 390 cubic inch with 4 barrel carburetor. Original Jetaway Hydramatic transmission.
Chassis: These Cadillacs were originally designed for air bag suspension but the bags kept popping so they resorted to using springs. I want to use the new reliable air bag suspension available today.
Wheels and Tires: Stock for now but maybe some mags after the suspension upgrade.
Body & Paint: Teal Green patina. Body is in perfect shape except for one ding up front and some surface rust.
Interioir: Teal green leather and fabric bench seats. Sits six. The only thing I want to upgrade is maybe a hidden sound system and a steering wheel.
