"Samara" 1947 Chevrolet Classic
Introduction / Overview: This model the last of 41-46 bodies. Built in the early months of 1947 due to a UAW strike half way through production in 1946. It's 1946 model built in 1947. (There is no model designation for a 3600)
Drivetrain: Inline 6 with standard transmission. 3/4 ton 8 lug full floating axle in the rear. Still under investigation. Not sure if the drivetrain is original or an upgrade. The truck came with an extra 1957 inline 6 with 3 speed tranny
Chassis: 3/4 ton, stock front leaf springs and dampers, stock rear leaf springs and dampers
Wheels and Tires: 8 lug steel rims
Body & Paint:
one or two rust holes patches needing to be redone.
Surface rust and gray primer.
The chrome grill is weathered with a few dents.
Every window has a bullet hole or two.
Interioir:
Doner bench seat
Rust
Missing interior panels
