"Essex" 1929 Nash Ambassador
Introduction / Overview:
1929/30 Essex coupe with other body parts from Plymouth & Jaguar, mini van.
Drivetrain:
500 cu. in. Cadillac engine, turbo 400 trans, 73 Pontiac Bonneville wagon 3:23 posi rear axle.
Chassis:
rear frame is stock, front is pattered after model A Ford. Four inch dropped axle, hairpin radius rods, reversed Corvair steering box & column. Rear suspension is Ford transverse leaf spring with ladder bars.
Wheels and Tires:
White wheels are smoothies with radial tires. Black wheels ar 1936 Buick artillery with bias ply tires.
