"Agent Orange" 1976 Chevrolet Vega
Introduction / Overview: Car runs in NHRA's Super Street catagory. Currently has an owner built 406 SBC and 2.03 powerglide.
Drivetrain:
406 SBC-
Scott Shafiroff rotating assembly with all forged internals. Brodix Track I ported heads. Comp roller valve train.
Powerglide Tranny-
2.03 planetary with hardened input/output shatfs. 5500 stall Hughes converter.
Ford 9-inch rear with 4:56 gears.
Chassis:
Full tube chassis with 3X2 main rails. A-arm front and ladder bar rear suspension.
Wheels and Tires: Ols school cenerlines wrapped with Hoosier 14-32 stiff sidewall slicks.
Body & Paint: Very Orange
Interioir: All aluminum.
